Call for Session and Poster Proposals

The call for session and poster proposals will be opening mid-January 2026, and the application will be available for approximately 4 weeks. All sessions and presentations at the 2026 Conference will be in-person. The best APBP presentations are interactive and engaging, offering new ideas and fresh approaches. Regardless of the topic of your proposal, we encourage you to think about your content through a wider lens. APBP aims to expand the conversation towards a broader context that reflects issues, themes, and relationships not commonly discussed within transportation.

A Look Back at the APBP 2024 Conference in Detroit

The 2024 APBP Conference was held in Detroit, Michigan from August 12-14, 2024. Over 300 active transportation professionals and advocates gathered in downtown Detroit for three days of dynamic and engaging content that brought together colleagues, friends, advocates, and experts from across the country.

Participants had the opportunity to engage in top-tier sessions that will undoubtedly propel their work and careers to the next level. The conference also featured exciting mobile sessions that took attendees into the field on foot, bike, and transit, allowing them to explore Detroit and surrounding communities.
