APBP’s new website is the next phase of a rebranding for our organization that began with the logo redesign in late 2017 and continued with our recent mission update. While our tagline remains the same:
Expertise for Active Transportation
our revised mission now reflects an established professional association that provides resources to advance the wide range of our members’ work:
APBP is a community of practitioners working to create more walkable, bikeable places. We foster peer knowledge sharing, advance technical expertise, and support the professional development of our members.
The next phase of our rebranding will be an update from our current listserv to a more engaging and dynamic online community. More on this in the coming months!
1. Want to Be Featured on the New APBP Website?
We have several new features on our redesigned APBP website that focus on our members and your projects.
First, we have a designated space on the site to showcase the projects of our members. If you have completed a project within the last 18 months you’d like to share as part of the Project Spotlight on the public apbp.org site, please complete this submission form: https://www.apbp.org/page/ProjectSpotlight?
We will be pooling all the projects submitted and circulating them in this space over time.
We also want to shine the spotlight on our members who are an active part of the association and out in the field day to day, doing great work for walking and biking!
Please take a few moments to update your profile on apbp.org.
And if you want to be one of our Featured Members on the apbp.org public site, let us know by clicking the appropriate box at the bottom of the online form.
We will pool Featured Members and rotate them on the site over time as well.
