Cedarburg, WI -- The Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) announced today that it is soliciting letters of interest from cities in the U.S. and Canada interested in hosting APBP's Professional Development Seminar in 2017 and 2019.
The association seeks cities that have achieved broad support for bicycling and walking, innovation throughout their community or region, and solid results in the form of increased trips made by foot and by bicycle. The biennial conference showcases communities that encourage more – and safer – walking and bicycling through innovative approaches to planning and design. APBP actively collaborates with the host community to
help local professionals and advocates use this conference to build
capacity to further advance walking and bicycling.
