Feedback on Chapter activities

Here's a summary of the surveys received at the 2015 Ontario Bike Summit.

Top 3 responses:

-Presentations by thought leaders and subject matter experts
-Effective communication to, from, and between members
-Effective communication with local and provincial governments by recommending policies & engagement in public discussion

Other interests:

-social and networking events
-mentor opportunities (APBP has an annual mentorship program)
-contribute to the profession
-active transportaton tours
-host APBP webinars
-effective communication with other organizations
-pro bono work in underserved communities (e.g. walk and bike audits)
-outreach to elected officials

Note that although communication is important, our main focus is on knowledge and professional development and support.  Advocacy mostly outside our mandate.

Any ideas for our next event?

Anyone willing to lead a discussion or presentation?
