Denver on Foot and by Bike
All-day session | Mobile tour

The Mile-High City made headlines by offering up bike share bicycles to delegates of the Democratic National Convention in 2008. Join your colleagues on a full-day mobile tour of Denver that includes an in-depth look at bike share and shows how walking and bicycling has helped to revitalize Denver’s neighborhoods. From light rail that entices new transit users, to pump tracks that enable new cyclists to develop their skills, to a vibrant new pedestrian mall featuring a booming streetcar line, Denver is fast becoming a city to watch – and emulate. The tour departs from the Millennium Harvest House Boulder at 8:00 a.m. and returns to the hotel at 5:00 p.m. The fee includes bus and bicycle transportation, lunch, and morning and afternoon breaks.

APBP will apply to the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) for Certification Maintenance credits for this workshop. A certificate of attendance will be offered to those who document their professional development hours in other fields.
