Do You Know an Active Transportation Superhero?

Do you know an active transportation superhero deserving of a 2016 APBP award? You can tell the world by nominating them for an APBP award! APBP members are invited to nominate APBP member colleagues in five exciting categories:

- APBP Lifetime Achievement Award
- Professional of the Year-Public Sector
- Professional of the Year-Private Sector
- Professional of the Year- Nonprofit Sector
- Young Professional of the Year (under 30)

When? By June 30, nominations are due. APBP’s 2016 awards are presented at the 2016 Pro Walk Pro Bike Pro Place conference in Vancouver, BC.

Learn more about the award criteria and nominate here. Remember, for a professional of the year, you must identify their accomplishments within the last 12 months.

Urban and Regional Policy Fellowship
By June 17, the German Marshall Fund invites pre-applications for one of three travel fellowships (between October 2016 and August 2017) to focus on policy issues and challenges common to metropolitan regions and communities in the United States and Europe. Mid-career professionals with seven years’ experience in their field can learn more here.

Executive Director

Adventure Cycling

The Adventure Cycling Association is 50,000 members strong. Founded in 1976 as Bikecentennial, Adventure Cycling celebrates 40 years by offering three great bike travel events, a video clip and a retrospective book.
