Preliminary findings of a 12-member team that participated in the recent FHWA/AASHTO/NCHRP International Scan Survey of Innovative Pedestrian and Bicyclist Infrastructure Improvements and Policies to Increase Safety and Mobility will be presented to FHWA/AASHTO/NCHRP in August. A final report on the scan including implementation recommendations is expected by the end of 2009.
