The Initiative for Bicycle and Pedestrian Innovation (IBPI) offers a week-long Comprehensive Bike Design & Engineering course.

Offerings include the original, or 1.0 version of the course, which best serves people from communities who are working to implement their first major bicycle master plan, as well as a 2.0 version of the course, aimed at those continuing to work on implementing bicycle facilities and moving their community into the next phase of bicycle friendliness.

Comprehensive Bike Design & Engineering 1.0 has a planning focus and content that includes introductory engineering issues. The course will provide approximately 32 hours of training which equals 32 CMs (AICP) or 32 PDHs and a limited number of scholarships are available!
